Purpose and aims

amwlist is a low-traffic email discussion list for the discussion of the UNESCO Australian Memory of the World Program. Membership of amwlist is unmoderated and the usual standards of academic courtesy, citation and professionalism are expected to be observed.
The list aims to:

keep members in touch with UNESCO Memory of the World developments, and in particular - developments with the Asia-Pacific regional program MOWCAP and the Australian national program
provide members with a forum to continue discussion on issues raised at workshops and any other topics of relevance to the Memory of the World programs
announce changes to the UNESCO Australian Memory of the World website
announce events, workshops and calls for items to be inscribed on the Registers
report on meetings, conferences and committee news
